一般歯科
一般歯科治療は、口腔内の健康を維持し、病気の予防と治療を行うための基礎的な治療です。当院では、幅広い一般歯科治療を提供し、患者様の健康な口腔環境をサポートしています。以下に、当院で行う一般歯科治療の各項目について詳しくご説明いたします。
虫歯とはお口の中にいる細菌と食べ物が混ざり合い発生した酸が影響で、歯の質が溶けて穴が開いてしまう病気です。
溶け始めの初期段階では痛みが出ないので、自覚症状がありません。
進行すると歯の痛み、口臭、食べたものが詰まりやすい、歯が黒いなどの症状が現れます。
そのまま放置すると抜歯の可能性もあるので注意が必要です。
虫歯の早期発見が重要です。定期検診を通じて、
小さな虫歯を早期に発見し、必要な治療を行います。
治療法としては、初期の虫歯にはレジン（樹脂）による充填、進行した虫歯にはクラウン（かぶせ物）やインレー（詰め物）を使用します。
歯周病とは歯を支えている組織（歯ぐきやを支えている骨など）が破壊されていく病気です。
痛みがなく進行することが多いので、気付いたらかなり進行していることもあります。
そして歯を支えている骨（歯槽骨）は、歯周病で一旦破壊されると回復しません。
歯周病が進行すると歯がぐらつき始め、やがて抜け落ちてしまします。
また、歯周病による全身疾患との関連性も近年わかってきており、
狭心症、心筋梗塞、脳梗塞、糖尿病、早産、肺炎などのリスクが高まることが報告されています。
歯周病は日本人が歯を失う一番の原因と言われている恐ろしい病気なので早めに予防や対策、治療が必要となります。
歯周病の治療には、スケーリング（歯石除去）と
ルートプレーニング（歯根面の滑らか化）が含まれます。
これらの治療により、歯肉の炎症を抑え、健康な歯周組織を維持します。
歯周病検査は、プローブという器具を使って、歯周ポケットの深さ測定、歯肉からの出血や歯の揺れの有無、レントゲンで歯槽骨の状態を確認します。
進行段階に応じて、ブラッシング指導、スケーリング（歯石除去）やルートプレーニング（根面滑沢化）を行います。
虫歯が進行して歯の神経まで達すると、神経が感染し、激しい痛みが発生します。
この場合、抜髄、根管治療が必要となります。
根管治療とは、歯の根の中の神経や血管を取り除き、根管を清掃、消毒し、その後根管を封鎖する治療です。
根管治療は複数回の通院が必要です。

その後、土台を築き、被せ物を装着して歯の機能を回復させます。
治療期間は被せ物の装着まで2ヶ月程度となることがあります。
また、再感染が疑われる場合、再根管治療を行うこともあります。
保存が難しい虫歯や重度の歯周病、親知らずなど、必要に応じて抜歯を行います。
抜歯後のケアや、抜歯による口腔内の変化についても詳しく説明し、適切な治療を行います。
抜歯に伴う痛みを最小限に抑えるため、当院では麻酔技術を駆使しています。
抜歯後の痛みや腫れを軽減するための対策も講じています。
定期的なプロフェッショナルクリーニングは、口腔内の健康を維持するために不可欠です。
歯科衛生士が専用の器具を使って、歯の表面や歯と歯の間のプラークや歯石を除去します。
自宅での適切なケアも重要です。当院では、正しい歯磨き方法やデンタルフロスの使い方など、
ホームケアの指導を行い、患者様が日常的に効果的なケアを実践できるようサポートしています。

Cavities are caused by plaque buildup on the surface of the teeth. The bacteria in plaque produce acids that erode the enamel, leading to cavities. Our clinic emphasizes prevention through regular cleanings and fluoride applications to prevent the onset of cavities.
Early detection of cavities is crucial. Through regular check-ups, we can identify small cavities early and provide the necessary treatment. Treatment options include resin (composite) fillings for early-stage cavities and crowns or inlays for more advanced cavities.
Periodontal disease causes gum and alveolar bone inflammation, which can lead to tooth loss if left untreated. Regular periodontal pocket examinations and cleanings help prevent and detect periodontal disease early.
Periodontal disease treatment includes scaling (removal of tartar) and root planing (smoothing of the root surfaces). These treatments help reduce gum inflammation and maintain healthy periodontal tissues.
When a cavity progresses to the point where it reaches the tooth’s nerve (pulp), it can cause severe pain and infection. In such cases, root canal treatment is necessary. Root canal treatment involves removing the infected pulp, cleaning and disinfecting the root canal, and filling it.
Root canal treatment requires multiple visits. First, the infected pulp is removed, and the root canal is thoroughly cleaned. The canal is then disinfected and sealed to prevent re-infection. Finally, a crown is placed to strengthen the tooth.
Regular professional cleanings are essential for maintaining oral health. Dental hygienists use specialized tools to remove plaque and tartar from the tooth surfaces and between the teeth.
Proper home care is also vital. We provide instructions on correct brushing techniques and how to use dental floss, helping patients perform effective daily oral care.
Extraction may be necessary when a tooth is beyond saving due to severe decay, advanced periodontal disease, or problematic wisdom teeth. We explain post-extraction care and any changes in the oral environment to ensure appropriate treatment.
We utilize anesthesia techniques to minimize pain during tooth extraction and implement measures to reduce pain and swelling afterward.
